Manufacturer Warranty for New Products
All new products sold on Funki Fone are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer and covers any defects in materials or workmanship that occur under normal use during the warranty period.
If your new product develops a fault within the manufacturer’s warranty period, you can choose one of the following options:
- Contact the manufacturer directly for warranty service or repair. Most manufacturers offer dedicated customer support and service centres for a faster resolution.
- Contact Funki Fone and we will assist you by providing the manufacturer’s contact information or helping to initiate the warranty claim on your behalf.
Please note that warranty terms, coverage duration, and claim procedures may vary depending on the manufacturer and product type. We recommend checking the manufacturer’s warranty documentation included with your product for full details.
1. What Is Covered by the Funki Fone Warranty
The Funki Fone Warranty applies to all products purchased through www.funkifone.co.uk.
For a period of 12 months from the date of delivery (or any longer period specified on the product page), and in addition to your statutory consumer rights, Funki Fone warrants that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
Under this warranty, Funki Fone undertakes to provide the following benefits:
- A presumption of non-conformity: any defect that appears during the warranty period is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise by Funki Fone.
- A response within 24 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays) from receipt of a warranty claim.
- A free return label provided within one (1) business day once the return request form has been submitted via the customer account.
- Free return shipping for the defective product.
- A repair or replacement solution issued as quickly as possible and within five (5) business days from receipt of the product(s).
- Funki Fone will cover all shipping costs related to sending repaired or replaced products back to the buyer.
- If repair or replacement is not possible, the buyer will be offered one of the following options:
- A full refund upon return of the defective product, or
- A partial refund if the buyer wishes to keep the product.
The Funki Fone Warranty is provided free of charge and applies automatically to all eligible purchases.
2. What Is Not Covered (Warranty Exclusions)
The Funki Fone Warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- The product is oxidized, corroded, or physically broken.
- One or more components of the product have been opened, altered, or repaired by the buyer or a third party not authorized by Funki Fone.
- The product has been used beyond normal or intended use.
- The product has suffered from neglect, improper maintenance, or accidental damage (e.g., drops or impact) after delivery.
- Normal wear and tear of consumable components (such as batteries, connectors, or accessories) is not covered by the Funki Fone Warranty or legal guarantee.
3. How to Obtain Warranty Service
If a product becomes defective within the warranty period, the buyer can easily request service through Funki Fone’s online support system.
- Log in to your Funki Fone account, select the relevant order, and click “Get Help” or complete the contact form available on the support page.
- Once the request is submitted, Funki Fone will provide a return shipping label free of charge.
- The buyer must securely package the product to prevent damage during transport.
- The buyer is responsible for deleting all personal data and logging out of any accounts connected to the product (e.g., Google or iCloud).
Upon receipt, Funki Fone will inspect the product and, depending on the verified issue, proceed with repair, replacement, or refund as outlined above.
4. Liability
Funki Fone is the seller of all products available on its website. Funki Fone acts directly as the responsible party for warranty claims, repairs, and replacements under this policy.
Nothing in this Warranty limits or excludes Funki Fone’s liability to you under applicable consumer protection laws.
If the buyer wishes to initiate legal proceedings or requires official seller identification, the relevant details can be found on the sales invoice or by contacting Funki Fone’s customer support team.
5. Is This Warranty an Insurance?
No. The Funki Fone Warranty is not an insurance policy. Neither the buyer nor any third party is an insured or third-party beneficiary under this Warranty.
This Warranty does not cover loss or theft of the product.
Customers may, however, choose to purchase separate insurance that covers accidental damage or theft from third-party providers.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
In the event of a dispute arising under this Warranty, the buyer may contact a consumer affairs mediator, free of charge, for an amicable resolution between the parties, as outlined in the Terms of Sale.
6. Legal Rights
This Funki Fone Warranty is offered in addition to your statutory legal rights as a consumer.
Your legal rights remain unaffected by this policy.
